"Ruadhan the Irish Pixie"
By Sarah J. Arruda

Deep in the forest they call Hunter Ridge is a sanctuary for the believers and fair folk alike.  This is a place where only the true of heart may enter the Great Oak which beholds the doorway to Faery Haven...

Ruadhan is a friendly Irish Pixie who spends most of his days tending to his clover garden.  Ruadhan is pronounced "ROO awn" and means "red haired".  Ruadhan wears an outfit made from leaves, with green tights, and worn black buckled shoes.

Ruadhan is completely hand sculpted from polymer clay built over a wire armature for strength.  Ruadhan is about 6 inches to the top of his head, or 7 inches to the top of his cap.  On his stand he is about eight inches high.  His stockings have been hand painted using artist quality paints.  Ruadhan's boots have been hand sculpted then painted to look like they have been well worn in.  He has Fiery Red hand dyed wool hair topped off with a green pixie cap made from silk leaves.  His clover garden has been created from modified silk flowers.  Ruadhan comes with his garden hoe and clover garden stand.  He is removeable from his stand for shipping purposes.

Pixies are jolly creatures, with squinty black eyes, turned up noses, and pot bellies.  Pixies are a bit more impish looking than their faery cousins, and not near as fashion conscious.  The are often adorned with findings and naturals from the forest.  Many of them love to dress in green and wear pointy red caps.  Though pixies are good natured, they do have a very mischievous side.  If you are not careful, they may tie your shoes together or hide your keys.  This may be quite troublesome to a human, but to a pixie it is all harmless fun.  Like many of the wee folk, pixies can have a bit of a mean streak, especially if provoked.  They have been know to do such things as plucking eyelashes, to acorning houses.
