"Pippin the Gnome"
By Sarah J. Arruda
Faery Haven

Deep in the forest they call Hunter Ridge is a sanctuary for the believers and fair folk alike.  This is a place where only the true of heart may enter the Great Oak which beholds the doorway to Faery Haven...

This auction is for Pippin, a friendly little forest gnome. He is a very jolly little creature who loves spending time with the chipmunks who live near his home. He and his wife, Greta, are keepers of the small forest creatures, making sure they are safe from harm.

Pippin is handsculpted from polymer clay He is very detailed, right down to his little fingernails. He has hand painted eyes and an adorable little expression on his face. He wears an outfit of blue and purple velvet.

Gnomes are benevolent little creatures who often take care of wildlife. They are often friendly, probably one of the most friendly of the faery kingdom. They resemble a tiny, but plump human wearing cone shaped hat. They can be found in old maple trees, abandoned tree stumps, and sometimes gardens.

All Faery Haven sculptures are PURE SCULPTS.  This means they are completely hand sculpted WITHOUT any use of molds.  They each start out as a lump of clay that is formed solely by the hands of the artist.  Each is its own unique being.
