One of a Kind Polymer Clay Sculpture

Deep in the forest they call Hunter Ridge is a sanctuary for the believers and fair folk alike.  This is a place where only the true of heart may enter the Great Oak which beholds the doorway to Faery Haven...

Phin is a Garden Pixie who often finds a home in an abandoned flower pot or  under a nice big Hosta.  Phin will spend most days just lounging around, as he is a bit of a daydreamer.  Just keep an eye out and make sure you don't move his home, as pixies can be quite nasty if provoked.  He will most likely leave you alone, if you don't bother him, and he may even sprinkle some pixie dust on your flowers to help them grow!

Phin is completely hand sculpted from polymer clay built over a wire armature for strength.  He is highly detailed with fingernails and wrinkles in his skin to give him an "alive" look.  Phin is just barely over 2 1/2 inches high to the top of his head and about 3 1/2 inches to the top of his red pixie cap.  His stockings have been hand painted using artist quality paints.  He has brown tibetan lamb hair topped off with a red pixie cap adorned with tiny acorns.  On his belt he wears a bottle of pixie dust.

Pixies are jolly creatures, with squinty black eyes, turned up noses, and pot bellies.  Pixies are a bit more impish looking than their faery cousins, and not near as fashion conscious.  The are often adorned with findings and naturals from the forest.  Many of them love to dress in green and wear pointy red caps.  Though pixies are good natured, they do have a very mischievous side.  If you are not careful, they may tie your shoes together or hide your keys.  This may be quite troublesome to a human, but to a pixie it is all harmless fun.  Like many of the wee folk, pixies can have a bit of a mean streak, especially if provoked.  They have been know to do such things as plucking eyelashes, to acorning houses.

All Faery Haven sculptures are PURE SCULPTS.  This means they are completely hand sculpted WITHOUT any use of molds.  They each start out as a lump of clay that is formed solely by the hands of the artist.  Each is its own unique being.
